Epson Scan (Both Mac and PC)
- Scanning a Picture
- Make sure the scanner is on.
- Put the object you want scanned into the scanner.
- Make sure “Full Auto Mode” is selected in the top-right drop-down list.
- Click the “Scan” button.
- This will be saved in the Pictures.
- Accessing saved Pictures
- Go to Macintosh HD > Users > Your Wesleyan Login > Pictures.
- Your picture file should be saved here in jpg format.
- Changing Scanning settings
- Click the “Customize…” button.

- Click the “File Save Settings…” button.
- Here you can change the destination of the file by selecting “Other” on the radio buttons. You can then specify the destination by selecting “Choose…” and selecting a folder for the file to be saved in.
- You can also change the format from jpg (default) to the tif, pdf, and pct formats.

Image Capture (Mac Only)
- Scanning a Picture
- Make sure the scanner is on.
- Put the object you want scanned into the scanner.
- Open the Scanner software by going to MacintoshHD > Applications > Image Capture.
- Click the “Overview” button.
- Select the section that you would like to scan by dragging a box around it.
- Click the "Scan" button.
- Changing Scanning Settings

- The file destination can be chose by going to “Other…”, in the “Scan To Folder:” drop-down list.
- The name can be changed by typing a new one in the “Name” field.
- The format can be changed by selecting a new one in the “Format” drop-down list.
